In 1986 there still were remains of pillboxes of Mozyrsky Fortification Region between Katsura and Myshanka stations (on the west of Kalinkovichy station). Even at the time when these pictures were taken it was possible to evaluate how powerful those fire units with artillery fire ports had been. At the time of the events described here the Germans used them for defense, though main constructions had been exploded before the war.
